MailScanner Front-End - License Only

The MailScanner Front-End for cPanel and WHM is provided free with the purchase of the MailScanner Service or cPanel Service Package + MailScanner. If you would prefer to install MailScanner and the MailScanner Front-End yourself or are not able to provide us with root access to your server for any reason, you can now purchase a license and install the MailScanner Front-End on your server.

Important: For the MailScanner Front-End License, in addition to our standard terms and software license, the following terms will apply:

• The license price is per server. This is a one-time charge. There are no recurring license renewal fees.
• You must inform us of your server's main IP address to be included in the MSFE license database.
• Bulk discounts are not offered.
• No free support from ConfigServer.com is included. Any support requested would attract a minimum charge of $30.00. Peer support can be obtained in the ConfigServer Script Forums at http://forum.configserver.com/
• Paid support will be limited to the MailScanner Front-end only, i.e. not MailScanner itself, SpamAssassin, exim configuration, etc. It may be necessary to revert to the MSFE default settings in order to provide support.
• The license is not transferable. The license will be registered in the name of the person or company purchasing it. Paid support will only be provided to the purchaser of the license.
• If you need to move the license to a new server or have a change of IP address, simply inform us of the old and new IP addresses and we will update the MSFE database.
• The scripts and user interface (both cPanel and WHM) may not be modified. Any modifications will constitute a violation of the license agreement and the license will be revoked.

Technical Notes:

• The cPanel front-end only works properly with skins that correctly implement the cPanel theme API, for example the x3 theme.
• The MailScanner Front-End for WHM is only available with root WHM login.
• We do not support use of a remote MySQL server for MailWatch, or setting up multiple MailScanner servers using a single MailWatch database.
• End-user access to MailWatch is not supported.
• cPanel 10 is no longer supported in the MailScanner Front-End.
• Trustix and Redhat 9 or earlier are not supported. ClamAV upgrades via the WHM front-end are not supported in Fedora Core 4 or earlier.
